While it takes away the fun of Bleachers eating together at a restaurant, it has the benefit of everyone picks their own food and just brings it to eat together in the park....

i just figure that would be an easier way to appease everybody's tastes if we all just bring our own stuff. and i figured if we do have the pinata, the lunch meet up would be the perfect time to do it.

I agree with kimu about the lunch/picnic. It's a good idea with its own merits, but takes away some of the eat-out-together fun.

Haven't had much time to work on the cosplay, but the "how" is pretty much planned out and all the materials have at least been gathered. Minus a wig. Though unless I get a haircut between now and May...it'd be a bit troublesome to fit all that hair under a wig cap. XD; Hence the reason I wonder why I didn't just pick Unohana and be done with it; goodness knows my hair's long enough. I seem to enjoy making life difficult for myself. XD

ok so since there seems to be a genuine interest in the lunch meet up, im starting up an attendance list for the lunch meet up - this will make it easier when it comes time to making a reservation (if its going to be needed) to say how many are coming.

@ Death_Note_Matt & Runewitt - ill add you two to the lunch list. i made it separate from the one on the main page so the first post wouldn't get too confusing. ^^

@Asougiru - you don't <i>have</i> to have a sword, but its definitely a main aspect of Histugaya's get up, so i would recommend getting one (or even better, making one! :D)

It's not that hard to make one. You can do wonders with cardboard, hot glue (the must-have of all cosplayers XD; ), and some well-applied acrylics paint. Of course if you can work with sturdier materials, great, but they tend to be more difficult to manipulate.

you could always use a cheap plastic sword and cover it with clay then pait over it adding details as needed

if you o a friend has basic wood working skills, you could always make one out of pine. it's an easy wood to work with, light, and its cheap, plus with the scrap, you can make a few pair of geta. (i know bleach shinigami dont wear geta, they has waraji and is gonna be a pain to find them in my size)
