How's Itazura na kiss?

Lisu

I plowed trough a couple more of the shows, but I found only 3 noteworthy mentions:

Soul Eater- If I were to rate by first episodes only, this show would have my vote for the best release of the season.  It super edgy, with great animation quality, and all dipped in a Halloween-ish flavor that naturally has me all over it.
The only down parts would be if it follows a trend of hitting a brick wall in quality, drags it unreasonably long and turns into a horrible jump-esque anime.  And also, if it is in fact good...the comic should be amazing!

An oddity pair of the season comes with Kamen no Maid Guy and Kyoran Kazoku Nikki.

Even if I heard maid guy to be the under appreciated or cool oddity series of the season...it sucks...hard.  It has the animation budget of a hobo, and the whole series is more than dependent on the Maid Guy, with everyone else not needing mention.

Kazoku Nikki being the opposite, with a great cast, looking good, and enjoyable, but that main girl is so damn annoying it simply killed the episode.

Now if you switched Kyoka with Kogarashi, you'd have one godly show, and one you could just brush aside.

Totally agree, Soul Eater's almost Tim Burton-inspired atmosphere is keeping me addicted XP I can't help but think of naruto when I look at the main guy in it though ^^;

Sunara Ishi

Monochrome Factor, Crystal Blaze (aka Glass Maiden), and Ayakashi both seem to have good potential.
Allison to Lillia is good.
Special A is more amusing than I thought at first.
Neo Angelique ~Abyss~ might be good.
There's too many potentially good or great series this season.
I wanna watch them all. T.T

I want my episode 2 of Vampire Knight. ~cries~

So far, on my good list is:
Soul Eater (I love the feel of it so far)
Tower of Druaga (Made me LOL so hard! great parody of a DnD-type scenario)
Vampire Knight (I should probably put this on the O.K. list, but I like shoujo stuff, and I like vampires...I just hope this series doesn't fail)
Special A(I like this one because its about a girl rising to the challenges of gender roles, which makes it an interesting standpoint - her and this boy compete in everything and he always beats her...and then you find out he wubs her <3  at first I didn't think this series would be good, but it's definitely entertaining)

My O.K. list:
Itazura Na Kiss (...basically this girl is in love with the super smart guy...lalalala not a big fan of the artwork of the guy but OH WELL still a cute story)
Monochrome factor (its like 'Loveless' meets the Heartless from kingdom hearts)
Kurenai (a little slow for me so far -_-)

My bad list:
Wagaya no Oinari Sama (a fox god that watches over a boy's safety because of some demon that's after him...eh, i feel like its similar to other works)
Kanokon (can we say...EPIC FAIL? Don't watch it.  Don't even attempt.)
Maid Guy

Does this have anything to do with the Namco arcade game of the same name?  ??? :D

Lots of cheesy anime this season, but a few are pretty entertaining. The season as a whole feels kind of boring, though. Too lazy to type out summaries, but I'll give a bit of what I like and don't like.

Kyouran Kazoku Nikki - Been looking forward to it since seeing the trailer. It's fun and wacky, worth watching. Pretty bizarre, but not too bizarre. Characters are fun, plot doesn't really matter. It feels like a supplement. How do I explain that?

Kamen no Maid Guy - Sucks ass. It was made for lulz, and it even fails at that. lol. "Budget of a hobo".

Wagaya no Oinarisama
- I like it, actually. It's pretty entertaining and an interesting watch. Seems typical at first, but then deviates a tiny bit as it progresses while still having that nostalgic feel. You grow to like the characters and suddenly its fun to watch. Nice to sit back and relax to.

Soul Eater
- Very nice. Setting and overall theme is very spooky and whimsical. I never read the manga, but I'll probably follow the anime.

To Love Ru - Ugh. Why do series like this still exist in this decade. Super cheesy, stereotypical loser and hawt alien plotless piece of junk. I can't stand the main character. He should kill himself. :V

Chi's Sweet Home
- Feels like a super clean version of Ebichu. Only a cat. Who doesn't talk to humans. In a family. A nice one. So uh, nothing like Ebichu. It's cute.

Itazura na Kiss - Boring.

Tower of Druaga
- Tries too hard.

Bus Gamer - It's either super manly or just super gay. Action-packed fujyoshi paradise, here. It's full of bad-boy stereotypes and bijin. Mildly entertaining nonetheless. I might keep watching.

Boy.  I've got a lot of stuff I'll have to watch.

Soul Eater:   Wow!  One of the best looking shows I've seen in a while.  Kinda weird, but I like it.  Was sold on it in ten minutes.

To Love Ru:   wtf?   Haven't I seen this show about a dozen times before?

Chi's Sweet Home:  It's not a cleaned up Ebichu, it's the antithesis of Ebichu.  ;D

So with what little time I have to watch new stuff, what else should I be watching guys?

Tsubasa

Totally behind on everything.  I've seen Geass R2 and am up to date.

Just posting to say though, that D.C.IIS.S. is already way better than D.C. II.  How?  Cause now it focuses on the girls that matter, kkthx.  Also, it feels more like a real D.C. series, all with the sakura tree nonsense.

I can say that Wagaya and Soul Eater are my top two favorites! with Wagaya i love the whole shinto elements to it. and with soul eater it is very halloween/tim burton esque. Episode 2 made me fall inlove with Angela <3

How many times are they going to kill that tree and then bring back to life just to kill it again!

True, the anime looks mediocre by all accounts but I'll still watch it plus every other terrible manga adaptation thats coming out this season.
I 'ctrl' through Visual Novels to collect CG's so I can trick people into thinking I actually played the game.

Hmm, let's see (so far):

Kamen no Maid Guy: An interesting concept (Maid Guy?) but...DO NOT WANT!

Penguin Musume: "Lucky Star"....on steroids?  Nuff said.

Soul Eater: At first, I thought this was gonna be yet another typical repetitive shinigami anime.  Turns out that this one is actually quite good, especially the animation style.

Now, to watch some Code Geass S2 and Vampire Knight.
