I wouldn't be offended by the costume.  However, the person inside the costume would have to act appropriately for that costume.

They'd have to be pretty easily offended, unless this Jesus had, like, a knife through his skull or something. Even then, that's a lot to get worked up over.

Destranacion or Jesus as we call him, has cosplayed Jesus for like the last 2 years. He looks like the Jesus from Dogma, so it's perfect. As far as I know, no one has had problems with him.
