Starting our own Mini Event?

Can anyone help me on what to do? My friend is the president of our school's anime club and she wants to start a mini event to help our club raise a bit of money! Does anyone know if we have to talk to officials or do we just go and hand out our flyers to start it? (It's a scavenger hunt).  Should we get a table/stand somewhere?

@Kumi: Yeah, you have to talk to the staffers about this. There is a staff meeting coming this sunday and you can ask them about it. Better ask and see what they say. Trust me on that.
