What abomination is this? http://www.pringles.com/pages/products/stix.shtml

America just can't leave well enough alone. I haven't quite gotten over the remake of "Shutter" and here I see a remake of one of my favorite snacks. Of course they aren't offering my favorite flavors ( French Toast & Curry ) but on top of that, the commercial portrays the Pringle's man dancing with a random female version of himself to cheesy 80s music. Wonderful.

Of course, on the plus side, Pringle's is going on tour with Nintendo to celebrate these "stix" and their release. These in-store events offer samples of each flavor and a chance to play "Boogie", which is apparently a new game coming to the Wii. Someone lucky will win a console. Free Wii anyone? http://www.pringlesstix.com/

Just because the Japanese mass-produced flavoured crunchy sticks before the Americans doesn't mean they were first, you know :P

Pretz are basically a commercially available variant of a pretzel and a breadstick, being respectively German/Bavarian and Italian in origin.

And I've heard that they honey and butter Pringles Stix are fucking amazing. I can't wait to try them.
