surething! Try to find me on Day Zero (even if you're not in-costume) to say hello, and we can discuss which costumes you're wearing when the con begins (unless you want to mention what those costumes are here)

Well, i got handed a major-headache in my Fanime plans today, as it turns out.. I have to work on that Friday of Fanime!! >:(

Due to the expected masses of crowds for IJ4 that weekend, my GM is really being super-strict in allowing people time-off. I managed to work out a deal which will hopefully not back-fire, but it will mean less pictures (and possibly less fun) for me for the beginning of Fanime:

Thursday: I'll still be there in the early-afternoon, and will be there for the Swap Meet that evening. But instead of staying overnight with my friend, I'll be driving back to SF late that night.

Friday: I'll be working in the morning, and that means missing out several hours of taking pictures of cosplayers. If I'm lucky, I should be back to the con by 5:00pm and take some pictures before participating in the Swap Meet that night. Don't fret, tho: I'm going to talk to a friend of mine to see if she can take pictures for me during Friday, and hopefully she'll be able to get your costume(s) and go to some of the gathering(s.) I apologize for not being able to be there during the day-time for Fanime Friday. :'(

Saturday & Sunday: I'll be there for both days (hopefully.)

Monday: I'll be there until around 3:00pm, and then I have to be at work at 5:00pm (talk about a tiring Holiday..) If you have a costume that day, please find me before I leave so I can take your picture.

Overall, this isn't as bad as it seems, but it still is a kill-joy for me to lose practically a full-day of Fanime.. And expect me to make up for it on Saturday, Sunday, & Monday with lots of pictures! :) Thanks for understanding!

yeah, with pre-reg. Thursday, Friday late-afternoon/evening, and then from Saturday morning all the way until Monday afternoon, i should be able to get a lot pictures. :)

oh, no.. i usually get sick before or after cons. I never get sick DURING a con, if I can help it. hehe ;)

I got a pleasant surprise today at work, when I looked at my schedule, and found out I now have Friday off so I am back to my original game-plan: I'll be there all weekend at Fanime!! ;D I still have to work at 5:00pm on Monday, but the con will be over by then (even though I'll leave by 3:00pm, and dread the traffic heading back to SF..)

Look for me bright n' early Friday morning, taking pictures of cosplayers, and then find me in the evening at the Swap Meet!

Oh, I'll be around.. ;) If you see me, please come up and say hi if I don't say hi first! And should I appear busy by taking pictures of other cosplayers, still come up and say hello, and i'll be happy to take a couple of pictures (perhaps bust out my 2nd camera and do dual-camera action like I do sometimes..) 8)

I'll be watching the masquerade and then taking pictures afterwards as well. I'm usually inside the convention-center lobby after the masquerade is COMPLETELY finished, taking pictures of the winners and remainder of the evening-cosplayers that hang out there.

Hehe If I overwork myself this con, which I forsee myself doing, I don't think I'll mind, because 1. Fanime is one of my favorite cons each year, 2. I have a rejuvenated-feeling now that I don't have to work that weekend, and 3. it's always good practice to prepare for the big trio of summer cons: AX, Comic-Con, and Otakon.

5 (or 6) more days to go!!

I'll most likely see you during the weekend. :) Waving (once or multiple times) may not be enough sometimes if I'm walking in one direction, so if you come up to me and say "can you take my picture?" if I haven't gotten your costume(s) yet, I'll be happy to grab a few. Help me and I'll help you, quid-pro-quo, etc. Sounds good? :D
