...I'm doing an English project my teacher called an I-search, and my subject is cosplaying/costume-making. (I kid you not.) I was wondering if there'd be cosplayers and such about who I could talk to here or during the convention, who wouldn't mind getting put into my project. xD; (We need to interview and observe things related to our subject, and since Fanime was this weekend...)

I don't have any really specific questions yet, since we just got the project details today, but I wanted to know if there was anyone who could.

Not awkward at all! As a cosplayer, I love talking about my costumes, and I always am so happy to finish a costume (srsly, I'm jumping around, grinning like an idiot, super pleased), so love it when someone else asks me about a costume I put a lot of time and effort into.

And totally seconding the gatherings; cosplayers in general love talking about their costumes, and it's such a love affair making the costumes that it's totally appreciated if someone comes up and asks how long we spent on it and starts asking us questions.

Sure sure I'll do it - Sounds like bunches of fun.  I'll be one of the Gaaras running around - Saturday I'm in his Kazekage robes and on Sunday I'm in his red/grey outfit.  Otherwise, on friday I'm a short blonde girl wearing leggings and a lace skirt with grey shirt and potentially pink arm wraps xDD yes... ecleticism rules....

edit: I'll be at the Crossplay gather on Sat - and the Naruto gathering on Sunday.

Yeah, seconding the just PM me if you want to talk; I've only got a few things that are absolutely vital, and most of them are Friday evening, but I'll be at Fanime from Thursday on and pretty much free the entire time. You can find me at the Phoenix Wright gathering, the Katekyo Hitman Reborn gathering, and probably the Tales of series gathering.
