I am not going to SacAnime this summer because it's being held August 29-31 and I start school on August 25.

Maybe for January 2009?

Well, I'm in college and this sem I might have to take Friday classes again, and I could just skip those, but I don't do that. 1 missed class = a whole lot of missed crap.

I just realized that AX is literally right around the corner. There is no way I can pay for another Fanime scale trip so soon after Fanime. Looks like I'll just be attending Sacanime. Our group hasn't figured out how many days we'll be there but we know we will at least be there for Saturday. Haven't decided if I'll cosplay to that one and what I will cosplay as if I go.

crazychichi

Yeah AX is really right down the lane...

Yaoi Con is probably going to be my next con to go to, but I will try AX is I can afford it.

I'm a good 11 hours if we drive. 9 if we don't follow the speed limit and about 14 if we do like Fanime and take the Amtrak.

All of my cosplays are put away and clean, I've unpacked all of my stuff, my boyfriend is back in Salines, and now I have to go back to looking for a job . . .

yeah, you could say I have a terminal case of pot con depression. :'(

so should we all meet up somewhere before and/or during sacanime?  It would be nice to actually set something in stone so we (*cough* I *cough) can meet everyone and reminisce >_<

I'd be totally down for a Sacanime meetup. My friend and I are trying to get more Hellsing cosplayers to go this year because of Crispin Freeman; how awesome would that be to have a huge Hellsing group?

I live in Sacramento, so Sacanime is kind of a given, especially since it's so cheap. I love my setup. I go to Santa Clara University, so I'm in San Jose during Fanime, and I live in Sacramento so I'm there during Sacanime. It's pretty sweet.
Fanime 2014: Mass Effect fem!Shep still incomplete. No cosplay this year.

K&K4ever

I'm staffing at sac-con and sac-anime

Unpacked, now I still have to look for job again, and my girlfriend is back home safe, and back to school for finals :'(. so it's really depression leaving fanime  :(

I don't know what to do with my mornings now . . . I guess I can sleep in

Every year as I'm driving back home, I look over my shoulder and start tearing up as I see the convention and the hotels disappear from view. I was almost in tears by the time I hit San Francisco :(
This year went by MUCH to fast. Before you knew it, it was Monday and you're struggling to get your things packed and hit the road. It didn't help that I had to be at work the following morning ( and I work at a bank, so it's soooooo boring sitting here ) I hate this small hometown of mine. I miss all the crazy, nerdy fans and the lively atmosphere. This place lacks all of that. I can't wait for next year!

I know exactly how you feel..I worked the following day as well..well i work mon-friday anyways, mcafee secure.  I can also relate to the boring town, though its not my home town, which I do miss quite a bit, vacaville has no one.  just outlet stores and bars...>_<..still having trouble finding people in the area, especially those into anime...alas, maybe I should accept teh fail and move back home :(

Anomaly! I totally saw you at the con! You walked past me and I couldn't think quickly enough to stop you and say hello. It also didn't help that you had this determined look on your face that said "I'm on a mission, stay out of my way."

Don't move away! I would miss ya ( even though I've only talked to you here in the threads ) and you rock so much!
