Well, cosplay isn't exactly meant to be done to get attention from people. I'm sure plenty of people noticed you and recognized the cosplay, but since it's such a popular/well-known/old/historical hentai series, it probably felt expected and you blended right in.

Yeah, I recognized the uniform design as well, and I do believe I saw you as I was walking around con. I didn't want to make a comment in the case I might get it wrong. That would have been awkward.

Well, cosplay isn't exactly meant to be done to get attention from people. I'm sure plenty of people noticed you and recognized the cosplay, but since it's such a popular/well-known/old/historical hentai series, it probably felt expected and you blended right in.

Even then, it's not really something to do for the sake of attention, in hopes many people will want to approach you. Having people recognize you and noticing you is nice, especially when people that approach you have common interests, questions, and whatnot, but the point of cosplay is to express your love for the character. Not getting a ton of attention and having people going "OMG, YOU'RE COSPLAYING FROM BIBLE BLACK!!!" isn't something you should get upset about.

It's like cosplaying Naruto, though. Everyone will already know who you're cosplaying and where you're from, but not necessarily go up to you about it. If you want to meet people, actively do so. As for cosplay, do it for the sake of having fun-- not people showering you with attention, compliments, and photo requests.
