Trinity Blood gathering '08

Some time next week I think Iam going to go to the Rosecrutian museum(Orden Headquaters)!!! I am looking forward to it!!! ;D Sham we couldn't of taken pics there during Fanime...but its too far away from the convention center! :( Anyways I'll take some pics and show you guys the gorgous gardens!!!!!

And I did it! I got tomorrow off work!
(Well, when you roll two weeks' vacation from last year into this year, and add that to this year's vacation days...well I'm supposed to try to use it this year. So.....)
Other than seeing my horse, and a few normal errands and such, costume work for the next 3 days!!!
First up, finishing that 10' long scarf! ha!

Been reading the sad stuff about Tokyopop. Makes me wonder if they'll drop the Trinity Blood manga and novels.
The next novel release is due out next week, but I wonder about the rest of them after that.

*now ripping out the hand basting stuff*
I realize how useful it is to hand baste certain things before sewing with the machine, but then with 20' of the two sides, it's a lot to take out after you put it in.... :P

Kimu: I haven't been that bad as of recently. I mean, the pictures Sister-Kate has sent me...the ones that she's drawn. Oh boy, it could cause an innocent mind to shrivel and mental virginity to be lost. It corrupts all, including God and all of his followers. Do not fall into the corrupt hands of Sister Kate! She gives Catholic religion a bad name.

Father Nightroad: I would love to go along with you. Maybe yourself, Sister Kate and hopefully some people we met over at the gathering can all go to Japan Town sometime this summer, if it gets along with everyones schedule. That would be awesome. All of us going shopping together and what not. Hopefully by then I will be caught up with the show! :'D

Kimu: If Tokyopop does stop doing Trinity Blood, then I'm sure another source might. I'm hoping somewhat that the people who do Shonen Jump do it...if Tokyopop stops. I mean...Shonen Jump is cheaper in manga prices than a lot of them, ya know?

If you visit sites like Anime News Network....
Recently, Tokyopop has been doing layoffs. And they intend to reduce the amount of material they are releasing.
A lot of editors are now out of work, and a number of their freelancers that do translations, lettering/touch up, etc.
So far, it's not real clear exactly what they intend to drop or slow down releases for, and what they will publish normally.
That includes Trinity Blood, of course. If I see any news, I'll let you know.
There's been one post that a couple titles including Fruits Basket appear that they will continue.

The other key US manga publishers seem to be okay, like VIZ. (They have Bleach, for example.)

As for the two Sisters!!!

If we have Ion attending again next year, or another Ion, we should set up more photo ops. By then those that didn't see all the anime yet and stuff should be caught up, right?
And if we have Noelle, we must set up photos with our "special friend". teehee

It's too soon to know what the fate of the TB novels and manga with TP will be. Just have to keep watching the news thingies.

They put it out on the shelf early!
My store probably won't have it for two more weeks. They're not exactly 'with it' on putting stuff out, but I'll go look tomorrow anyway.

Esther-san...take good care of yourself. May the drama pass swiftly.

On dinner break, and sewing stuff is going well! Got the crosses going onto the scarf and the armband is well underway. I'm working my way through with the scarlet thread at the moment to cut down color and needle switches.
