Dear Beyer Productions:

I was referred to you by my friend Becca Romeo.  She told me that I should contact you if I was interested in the possibility of working as a Casino Graphics/Animation Designer.

I have graduated from Ex'pression College with a BAS in Animation and Visual Effects this March, and am looking to work for a company that consistently creates high quality features. Animation has appealed to me ever since I was little, watching Saturday morning cartoons.  It was only more recently that I started to consciously notice the high quality of animation that makes the characters seem more alive and the actions more believable.  Learning to animate has been a fun and rewarding experience for me, both in and out of school, and I have worked hard to hone my abilities as an animator.  Ex'pression taught me how to use Maya as animation tool and also how to use Photoshop and After Effects to create animatics.

But if you don't need me as a Casino Graphics/Animation Designer, I might be able to at least serve as an extra eye as a gopher, and learn from what I observe the fine work that you do.
