omg you guys, Kimu's Abel costume was so awesome in person! she did an awesome job on it (got me all stoked to get started on Tres lol). and Inoli's wings were like WHOA. seriously. i want wings like that lol.

Kimu: I am seriously crying right now. You look absolutely amazing in that costume. Crazy amazing. Holy crap, I'm so proud of you. I'm inwardly squealing with tears literally down my face XD And thank you ^^ Hey! On our presentation we have examples of cosplay. Do you mind if I print some out of our group in the cosplay?

Especially you, Esther-san!!!

I'm so happy that so many people have loved the way my costume came out so far. I even had one person who was--"awesome! You did the first manga volume!!" Something like that statement, but he knew.
But what made it even more awesome was being in the company of other Trinity Blood cosplayers who were so supportive and fun.

For your presentation, Esther-san, you can use any of those Fanime pics you want!!
Obviously, you'll want the nice, lovely ones rather than the silly ones, I'm guessing.
But those pictures are of YOU, and you can use them wherever you wish, as you please. Icons, your own costume galleries, etc.

I wish i could have gone but i had no way of going plus my family from Seattle were coming down that day. *heavy sigh* oh well theres always fanime to look forward to!! By the way who brought the hand cuffs? I started laughing so hard my sister thought i was going crazier than usual XD

I got called "adorkable" by one girl when I went out to fill "my Crusnik's" water bottle and they squeed and wanted pics with me.
So it delayed my getting back to Inoli with it, but everyone got a good laugh over the story. 

The hand cuffs...Inoli brought those and it was her idea to do that series of photos.
Charis/Myalchod aka Captain Mom Unohana did the honors with the camera.

The photo of me kneeling with Inoli standing behind me is from a series a photographer named Jim set up. I'm looking forward to seeing what he got! Someone snagged my camera and got a few shots on it from one of those set ups.

I also had the honor of escorting her Eminence to the Masq where we had to pass through metal detectors, and it is totally true a TB costume WILL sooo set those off. We both got wanded, her Eminence had 180+ grommets in her skirts, and I had blingy metal bits all over. I got asked if I had a weapon, too. <smirk>

On the last night, there's a very funny story where Inoli and the other 2 were done with the Masq--and the other 2 went to bed, but Her Eminence and I went with Inoli to the IHOP across the street from the hotel. Fey had changed out to normal clothes, but Inoli was in part of her Red Mars cosplay and I was still in Abel.
On the way back, we get in the elevator and some other party people do, too. One of their party was having an issue over whether to get in the elevator or not, and finally Inoli was "get in or we're going" kind of thing.
Guy gets in, doors close.
A woman looks over at Inoli, "are you a guy or a girl?"
"I'm a cosplayer."
Well, that freaked her out and so realizing these aren't con people, Inoli does a fast explanation on costuming and conventions.
This isn't good enough because Inoli "scares her" a bit and so finally Inoli says, "I am a woman."
We get to their floor and doors open, they start leaving. The woman stops and says: "okay, so YOU're a woman (to Inoli), but that, (points to me) is definitely a guy!"
Doors close, the three of us double over in laughing.

I had the most awesome time debuting my Abel at AX. I was with such great people, and the fun of running amok with Inoli in her Crusnik? Tooo much fun, and lots of in character jokes were done. Complaints like "You don't feed me enough" ;P
I'm glad SOME of that got conveyed through the pictures and video, so I could share some of the TB love with all of you.
Until we all get together to make more crazy TB stories...

And by then, the rest of my manga Vatican Abel will be done--the cape armor pieces.

As for next year? I've sunk myself--I'm going to do THORES Empire Abel....at least the costume part of it. Noooot too sure I want to try messing with the wings. I am currently planning to debut that costume at AX.

Also...my big and only purchase from the dealer's room?
The big Abel statue.
After all I suffered to get this costume to a wearable stage? And the way the debut went? I had to get it!

The one girl really freaked me out... at first she kept starring at me, then she asked for my picture and I thought "Oh thats why she was starring at me!!!" Then she ended up standing in line with me while we were waiting for a panal... After a few minutes ahe turned to me and asked
"My bra strap came undone can you fix it for me?"
me: *seeing that her bra strap really had come undone and being a girl myself and knowing how hard it is to fix byyourself while not in a bathroom said* S s sure. O///o
her: Thanks.
me: *fumbles with bra strap*
me: Done! *notices that the strap is now going around her dress' strap...* Wait sorry I did it wrong!(At this point I was hopelessly embaressed!!!) Let me fix it! Sooooooooo sorry!!! *As fumbles with bra strap* Sorry!!! O///O
her: Its ok.
I have never been that nervous!!! I was all sweaty and fumbling around try to help...*sigh* She was nice tho' after that I said sorry agian and we talked about a shared interest!!!

Wow, Nightroad...that's a little creepy. You sounded like you nearly had a stalker there.

We were also trying to keep an eye out for photo ninja...there were a number of them there at AX.

Behaved  . . . *coughs* suuuurrrre we behaved. we were only walking around in some old cosplay pieces looking like total weirdos. one lady as i passed her in a mall asked if we had just come from a play or something. Then in japan town as we entered a sword shop a man turned to his fellow traveler  and said something to the effect of "so are those anime characters?" the woman next to him said "no i  think they just dress that way"
I had such a hard time keeping from bursting out laughing. Actually the man was half right since Ester was in her Roxas outfit. LOL XD  Ahhhh good times, and we found the perfect guy to be Mori- Senpai if Ester and i can get enough people to be in the Host Club. man thats three cosplays for next year already!

Having multiple cosplays for next year is fine!
I'll have Ukitake, Kenshin, Sairin, and Abel next year. It's all good!!!
Other than the manga Vatican Abel, I doubt I'll have anything else new. That artbook Empire Abel will be expected to still be in progress for debut at AX.

Although the manga version has been a ton of work, too, and it's not totally finished yet. I want vol 2+ version ready by September. And that's what you'll see at Halloween if you make it there, too.

omg so you were the one that bought the Abel figurine!! there was a booth that had it but they took the price tag off (never told me if it had been sold or not, and no one seemed to know how much it was), so i had given up on getting it. thats only the second time i've seen that figurine, you're so lucky!

There were two booths we found the Abel figure at, and one of them had 2 of them.
So there were at least 3 of those figures there.
