I wish I could have joined in that, I had to buy a new XBox a while back and it cost me a lot.....

LOL.
This reminds me of those commercials talking about compensation from Doctors do to side effects from medical treatments and such (you know what I'm talking about...).
There all greedy Bastards.

These all seem like a nice idea, but usually the lawyers who get all the money, and the actual people get very little back. I remember when my dad and I built a desktop a 6 years or so back, the RAM we bought I guess was defective. We apparently were apart of a class action lawsuit and in the end only got a few dollars back. *shrugs* Our RAM worked so it didn't really matter. But as Lt said, "They're all greedy Bastards."

I'm not against this.  Call it bitterness cause I got the red ring and bought another system to replace it. -.-

Let's put MS out of business while we're at it.

Disgorge all profit from the system? Lmfao.

Or perhaps have them refund the money or replace the systems and losses to those involved, have them tell the world they screwed up for once and call it a day.

Common sense and wanting retribution for getting hosed is one thing, thinking you're going to get a payday because you bought a faulty system is nothing but greedy and stupid.

With MS' track record of botchy products on release, it's no surprise a lot of people got what they got. Get a new system, a check for a c-note for your troubles and call it a day. Tools.

You're idiots for buying a new system instead of sending it to microsoft to have them fix it.

In my case, I couldn't.  Mine's JP.  My first system was second-hand JP.

Well then we would have to wonder why you would have a JP 360 over a AMR 360.

I sense some negativeness here. look we all know Microsoft musted up on their 360's knowing that they r not fixed. Reason people r still buying broken 360's is cuz last year and year before that there were games that were exclusively on the 360 that were great and performed better then its ps3 competitor at the time. It had all the good games, but this inst anything new, ps2 had its share of problems when it was at its height of gaming and all the 3rd party good games were on sonys side. Now its the opposite more 3rd party developers r making more for Microsoft. Reason to make games for Microsoft? well money for one thing and I think another thing is that xbox 360 players are sort of a mix between the hard core and the casual due to their xbox live service. I believe there is more hardcore gamers on the 360 then what its leading on

But ever since beginning of this year, games that were not coming out for the ps3 for such a long time r now coming out and people I know and I myself said this might be the year of the ps3 resurgence. ps3 is finally getting its good games to come out *like little big planet and ressitsance 2* and since its been about a year or 2 since it debut ps3 has right now a library of games that could compete with Microsoft *i still give the edge to xbox jst a little bit but soon to be passed up* I can go on to say that ps3 is the better system then xbox 360 but i am not. to close on this sony subject as a person getting a ps3 this xmas I would rather have a system that works then a xbox that half the time may break. I still play xbox for some exclusive games *I.E. mass effect* I think i use more of the ps3 more then my xbox. and oh it doesnt hurt that the ps3 online service is FREE

and to end this argument as some of us know and some of us are hard to see why its happening, ninetndo is owning everyone with its DS's and wii's. if you dont believe me look it up on the NPD's. google that with the wii and ds sales and see how much they r making per month. its crazy but yea casual audience is making nintnedo money mad rich.

and I know you will respond to this so to let u know I am not flamming on u, jst giving my point of view on what I think why people r still buying the 360 even though they know its a 50/50 chance of breaking. **btw i am on my 3rd xbox 360**

Reread what I wrote. Now tell me what ANYTHING YOU SAID has to do with what I said.

This system run, I support the 360, because it does way more than any other system in terms of users. If you compare titles, the PS3 still doesn't even come close to the 360. If you compare live to shitty ass PS3 stuff, 360 blows it away. Hell bandwidth comparisons alone for like titles, the 360 beats the PS3 in every way.

Now once more, I state. What does anything you said have to do with what I said prior. I will say it again...

Why are you idiots buying new 360's instead of sending it in to Microsoft to fix?

Microsoft recognized the problem a long time ago, which is why they told people to mail their 360's in, and they will fix them/offer replacements if yours happens to red ring.

You've bought 3 360's at this point? Good for you, all that means to me is that you are an idiot of a consumer. Your little rant even pushes that view.

Edit: Tsubasa atleast has a legitimate reason. Though Tsubasa, there is a round about way to do it, if you mail it to JP office using a JP address they will fix and mail it back to that address. Realistically, it'll be a little cheaper than rebuying a new 360. Same thing happened to my friend, but that happened to be when the elites came out, and we happen to be in Japan when his red ringed, so he just bought an Elite while we were there.

uh dude, I didn't buy 3 new xboxes i send them in to get new ones cuz of the red ring of death. hey I am not dogging the 360, i still support and love my 360 ever since the early days of xbox. jst the way i see it now ps3 is finally getting a library of games that they needed. yea there isnt a bunch like xbox 360 but its something. now as far as the online service I have yet to see whats on the ps3 online support to really compare both 360 and ps3. I do say this though, I like that ps3 has a full game on their psn *burnout paradise* and i love the stuff they have on 360 with games like megamen 9 and castle crashers. damn dude I am jst trying voicing my opinion. take a chill pill and relax.

I'd actually would like to get an XBox-360 for some of the games, but when I've gone into stores and seen  the RRD on display units,  I have to reconsider it.

The reason they got RRs is because there basically sitting in a plastic bubble with no ventilation, creating a oven effect. :P
