I did read Berserk and actually I liked it, mostly just the golden age arc though.  I still think this ms paint strip is funny though, because as much as I am a fan of Berserk, it's actually true.

You can overly simplify ANYTHING into that. YYH would be Yuusuke punching everyone, then doing Ray/rei-gun to "kill" them.

Most shounen series are loser being a loser for the entire series getting into retarded situations where he is a loser, only to score with the heroine at the end.

What's important in the story is how each scene is brought about and why. Guts kills stuff lololololol. -_-

You're right, Guts does kill stuff lawl.  but srsly I can see how I might've started this thread on the wrong foot.  What I really wanted was to draw the attention of the Berserk fans so we could discuss the series so far and what we can expect to see in the new chapters... but instead I get a response from a guy who gets easily irritated.

I was hoping there'd be more people who read Berserk here even if the boards were kinda empty.

Nothing new at all... He was a vipper for a while as well, that's what made him stop serialization the first time years ago.
