haha, last year my group was the one with the Near who was obsessively solving the rubix cube over and over. we got him finger puppets, though, so now he's working on his one-handed speed so he can have the rubix going in one hand and the puppets on the other XD

(honestly, though, i can't solve it, double-handed nor one-handed XDD)

Actually, Near is my least favorite character, but I just wanted to cosplay him cuz I thought it'd be fun, and L is over-cosplayed. Mello has too much clothing that would be too hard to get, and Matsuda would be awesome, but I doubt anybody would know who I was.

you can probably find appropriate pants/vest places. i was kind of obsessive about mine and sewed the whole thing from leather, though ^^;
