Awww, that's all very sweet. What grade do you teach?

I teach computers and technology to Pre-K thru 6th grade.  I also teach a group of advanced students in a problem solving group.  It's a demanding job, but totally worth it.
Sometimes I'm glad I became a teacher.  Other times I wish I had simply become a ninja.

Speaking of which, I remember my teacher back in high school was an anime fan. All it took were 4 Anime DVDs for my A in the class....>.>;;

On that note, I hope no teachers will pick up this idea...0_0;

LOL.  My ceramics teacher in High School forced us all to watch Akira and write a paper about it.  If we didn't write the paper we couldn't complete the class.

I forgot to mention that for my term paper, I wrote it on how anime reflects certain aspects of Japanese culture. Threw in a few VHS tapes with certain scenes to refer to, some pictures in the back of the paper and called it a wrap. Got an A as well.. xD.

Reminds me of how I was back in hs 9 years ago. While people were playing outside, I stayed in the library to Google BGC:2040 pictures of Nene and read Animericas..=_=;;;...

a friend of mine did a report on the Manga version of Akira the first volume in high school. I was so close to getting my art teacher to play Akira in class but due to the rating we would have the parent hammer come down on us though she wished we could of watched it. Also
My economics/senior history teacher saw me with a Cowboy Bebop t-shirt and said he saw the series and liked it.

I had a pretty good day even tho lunch was spent with my boyfriends mom and him and I moved all day... And he didn't cook for me like planned (had sushi instead) after we broke the new place in. Blah blah buying people stuff. I was happy for his company. :)

And that's a wrap, boils and ghouls.

I went with my innermost gut instinct, and with the help of a momentary lapse in sanity, I decided to recycle this forum. Feel free to chat about anything related to:

OK single stuff.

I am working on being comfortable with who I am.  Socially, physically and emotionally I don't want to have to rely on someone else to feel ok with myself.  However, if I find someone I hope they can accept that I'm still working on myself.  (OK that sounds really pathetic, but I really hope you understand what I'm saying.)

On the up side being single is nice sometimes.  As stated before I get the bed all too myself (Queen size thank you very much), I decide what I want for dinner every night, the t.v. is totally mine to control and if I'm in a withcy mood I can just curl up on the couch and be a witch without worrying that anyone is going to be upset.   ;)

Wow this post pretty much laid out how I feel toward being single.  I like it, I like being alone more than having to worry about what someone else thinks/feels.  I had a valentine this year, but I honestly like it better when I don't, as shit as that sounds lol.  I hate gift pressure! It's like going out to a nondescript location and not knowing how to dress. Ugh!

SOawesomeness

I'd like someone to break down my social walls that I have. I can't be in a relationship cos it's just too awkward for me to know that I'll be hugging or hold hands or whatever. It's too... cliche feeling for me, I think, but then I'm scared to actually be attached to someone. o: And plus, I don't like it as is when someone gets too touchy with me, regardless of who they are. It bugs the crap out of me. xD

I like being single because I don't have to change as much. And I get to do practically anything I want without having to wait on someone else. I like silence. >.> And being as stupid and uh... crude, whenever I want. Haha. (:<

I completely forgot it was valentines day yesterday, only for the fact that I was in Los Angeles for Gallifrey One(Doctor Who convention).

Screw Valentines' Day, I got to meet Gareth David-Lloyd and Kai Owen(Ianto Jones and Rhys Williams in Torchwood, respectively).

Same... I hate gift pressure also. D: It feels like that or being given no idea what will be going on, who will be there, how to dress, etc. and given just a couple hours to get ready. D:

I tend to also... More so because I am used to it because I used to keep random piles of clothes or plushies/pillows on the other side. >.>;
