Can badges be picked up by another person?

My sister and I are currently pre-registered for the Swap Meet but I won't be able to make it to Fanime until about 9 or 10pm on Friday. We were planning that my sister would "mandate" our area for the first few hours then when I came in around 9pm I would take over. But, after reading the other forums, I found out that the "badge pick-up" closes at 8pm. Is it possible for my sister to pick up my badge with a signed letter or if I give her a copy of my ID or (if it ever comes to this) any form of documentation indicating that we are sisters (haha)

I would email [email protected] but the policy has been that each person can only pick up his or her badge.
