Just curious.  Every time I put mine in I can't help but think more people choose B over A.  I would like to know for sure now.

I don't see why anybody would prefer side A, there doesn't seem to be any advantages that way.

The only advantage I know of to "A" is that it keeps the cat from playing "lets unroll all of the toilet paper".  Kitty doesn't really see the paper when it's up against the wall, but when it's kind of fluttering there out in the open, it's like it's made of cat nip and fun.   I've gone thru a LOT of paper that way.

B, for simple function... though, i cant remember the last time i put the roll on there. its sitting on the shelf next to the tank.

B. For some reason it rips a lot easier. When I run into an A and I try to pull/rip it just ends up unwinding.

The roll is neither. It sits on the counter top that is right next to the toilet, whithin real easy reach and view. Unlike it's holder. O_o
