Waiting in line? Pre-reg

Okay, so this is what i'm wondering. More so what happened.

So, for pre-reg you come a day early blah blah, you get the jiff.

But last year i went in my normal human clothing. I Saw a few people in cosplay.
Now what i wanna know is..

  Would you go and dress up and wait in line, or save it for the con? Cause i'm kinda tempted to be innoccent blair standing in line wagging my tail. But at the same time, is there even a point? Meh, i dont know, what does everyone else think?

This year I won't make it for pre-reg. I wouldn't wear a cosplay in line, I'd rather it be out on the con floor. It's a matter of preference I guess. I think some stuff goes on for pre-regged people, but I usually don't attend. I just go to the hotel room/friends' house.

Personally, since it'd be Thursday that you're talking about, I wouldn't cosplay because there's not that many people at Thursday opposed to say, Friday.

It's a hassle for me to change at my hotel room, go to the floor and pick up my badge in my cosplay than to pick it up, go check into my hotel room, and then go straight to the con after changing.

Though if it was a bigger line, that's a different story. More people are interested in cosplay/oohnewshineynessforeignawesomeness before they go into Fanime.

For people that will be staying at a room Thursday night, it really is just a matter of preference.
If your going to be hanging around, some people just perfer to be in costume on the con floor I guess. Others might think it's not worth the effort.
Me, well I like to wear my regular clothing as is. All hail my God Jacket.

I usually save my costume for the last two days, since I want to enjoy the con instead being swarmed by fan girls  :-\

I normally save my cosplay for con.
Because:

1. I'm lazy
2. I often don't have very many cosplays in the first place.

Eventually I'd like to cosplay Thurs.

depends on the cosplay
if it's comfortable I'd wear it thursday, standing in line too
and the rest of the con :)
they do have a few things going on on thursday though like usually there's a pre-reg only concert

if it's bulky, itchy or not something I'd not sit on the floor in, I'd get my badge first then go up to my room and change

but if it's uncomfortable I'll probally only wear it 2 days instead of all 4 so...

Probably change into my cosplay Friday evening since I got some camping out to do in front of a room @_@
