Sacramento June Ball-Jointed Doll meet-up 19th-20th CANCELLED!!!!!

okay so this meet-up is for any one in the sacramento area who either has BJDs or obitsus or would like to see them in person and know more about them!
please feel welcome to come!! YOU DON'T HAVE TO OWN A DOLL!!



I think the last meet-up at my house went well so I want to have another one:D

I figured this would be a good time to have it for all of those college/high school students :)

there's a park right next to my house we can use for photo-ops
so it's on the 19th-20th Friday-Saturday
time:
5:00 on friday
we will meet up at Rush Park on friday, like a mile or two from my house
there's a nice Pavilion and BBQ thing we can use, I'll look into what I have to do to use it.
I'll make this a BBQ dinner thing
so sign up for something!

there's a pool in case anyone wants to go swimming I'll find out when public swim is and how much it costs:)

that night we can all go back to my house for a slumber-party (sorry lillimuth :sweat I stole your idea... it just sounded like so much fun!! lol)

on Saturday morning my dad (or whoever) will make pancakes and/or waffles
....unless I can convince my brother to make crepes for us :aheartbea

and we can chat until everyone feels like going home :)

I'm going to assume no-one will be up until 12 or  so...
so leaving time will probabally be around 5pm <3
so... anyone have anyting to add?
would a different weekend be better?
should I change it to July?

you may want to clarify:

that this gathering is in June? ??? [At first glance I was wondering why the 19th/20th fell on a Friday/Saturday. ]
will the sleep over be co-ed [based on your parental permission]


EDIT -we've had female only gatherings and thats perfect fine, you just need to establish this gathering as such if thats what your intending.


Other than that, I'm glad to see people using this sub forum properly for a chance :)

Woot to you and our friends with your BJD's [um, i honestly dont know what they are, but I think my roommate has a few wandering around the house]... if i think i know what they are...

EDIT- did you mean ball-jointed dolls? i think your title has a minor spelling error :P 

I might wander up there for the heck of it. that is if people from out side the Sac area are allowed to visit.
Trust me ppl from far and wide are willing to drive our for a anime-ish related gathering is out there.

we just hang out and talk mostly ...
sometimes about doll stuff but mostly not, mostly just random stuff
I'm planning on putting on a movie friday night, maybe 'Doll Master' if anyone wants to watch it

Oh! and at the last doll meet at my house we had "dolly spin the bottle" it was uber hilarious!! :D :D
