Metal gear cosplay help?

Anyone here know where to acquire a MGS3: SE Revolver Ocelot cosplay?

I believe its some sort of Russian military uniform...

I don't believe you'll be able to "acquire" it anywhere, unless you want to shell out a ton of money for a real vintage military uniform.

The uniform itself isn't too difficult to pattern, as there's plenty of existing home patterns that you can use to modify- just take a basic trouser pattern and balloon it out to make those balloon pants, and you can find a coat/jacket pattern that's really similar (and adjust as necessary, of course).

I don't see where it would be illegal to cosplay as Ocelot...
