Skills Exchange (Potentially Unfathomable Possibilities)

Hello!
I am interested in making it easier to meet up with other talented Fanimecon attendees and sharing skills that we are good at with each other. I suggest having some sort of forum or dedicated section where we can suggest traits or skills that we can offer to teach other people, with what we are interested in learning in more about in another.

Some things that we could learn collaboratively that are commonly desired are:
How to pose in photographs
How to take photographs
How to style hair/wigs
How to be more comfortable in meeting people (we can work out a system if it is widely used enough)

There is so much potential! We have a huge group of dedicated individuals all coming together to share their interests in Anime and anything remotely related, surely there must be other commonground that we can learn and inspire each other with!

Personally, I am interested in anyone associated with or who knows someone in education, as I am interested in designing more effective classroom environments and helpful communities. I am interested in meeting anyone who is interested in meeting me, and want to learn as much as possible about everything.

I started a club called The Syndicate as a local group while I attended Palo Alto High which basically is the same thing and found it to be fairly successful, hopefully we can have this here as well!

Some things that I have to offer are knowledge in card manipulations, flourishes, magic, contact juggling, butterfly knife flipping, photography, modeling, hairstyling, makeup artistry, and NLP.

So if other people follow a similar format as above, I think we could establish great communities, and have Fanime 2010 be a fantastic opportunity to meet and learn a profound amount of information on topics that we find inspiring.

Most cosplayers go on the Cosplay .com forums for Q & A on cosplay and other related subjects. You might want to go over there and look around. There are other forums too, but that one is the bread and butter forum for cosplay.
