Ok having a FANIME crush is one thing, but why are guys so scared to talk to girls?  I mean I guess the younger attendees would play the cat and mouse game, but if there is a guy I am interested in like I say "you have to grab life by the balls and take charge..literally"..LOL.

I would probably take a stab at the "lack of social skills, con girls aren't 2d so they don't know how to talk to them, etc."

But seriously, what's the worst that's gonna happen? Sure you might get shot down, but eh, c'est la vie. Take a chance, I'd imagine a girl would be much more likely to talk to you in person than 6 months later via a random online message. I mean how would you even start the online message?

LMAO that is so how it goes too...like 1 yr later there is a post stating looking for girl who cosplayed as yuna..C'mon...and they will even have a picture that is taken based upon 10 different angles ..in different areas throughout the con!!  Really the worst that can happen is you get rejected...there are literally thousands of other girls at con!  But guys can't go up to a girl on a creep mode..they have to be cool and start a random..no creepy conversation.  Anther great area to pick-up woman is in a line...I Seriously talk to so many people waiting in line!  So this years con resolution for all the lonely guys out there...be a little outgoing...AT LEAST SAY HI!!
