So I'm pulling together prizes for Anime Bingo and the other game(s).  Remembering that I am a poor servant of the public education system (read that as "I am broke")...what kind of things would you guys like?  I've done little things from ebay and some snacks in the past.  I've been looking at some fun glowing necklaces and such from orient trading this year.  What sounds good to you guys?  Any new and fun ideas?

On a somewhat related note.  I'm looking for 2 people who will be at the convention on Monday from noon until 1:00 and are willing to give an hour of their time to do something I think will be pretty cool.  It's not Gathering related, you do not need to be in cosplay and if you are in cosplay it doesn't matter what show you're from.  I will need about an hour of your time, and you'll get to do something a lot of people wish they could do at Fanime during that hour.  We can even discuss a reward for your time if you're interested. 

Please PM me if you're interested and would like more details.  Because this isn't specifically about the gathering I'm not going to bring it up here again.   

But seriously...you know you wanna do it...it'll be fun.  Just 2 people for 1 hour (45 minutes actually). PM me.

I just thought of something , if your gonna cosplay, do it big. I want to try and make my Anbu as authenti as possible, so i know the ones from the cosplay sites are not as good looking but i want to but those and make them look better.

Will be going to the gathering as Akatsuki Orochimaru, and the dance as fem!Orochi ('cause dancing in that cloak would be terrible). Hope to see everyone there! ;D

Hey guys!  Sorry for the delay in updating.  I have reasons, but don't doubt that organizing our Gathering and Events is primary in my mind.  I'll have us updated in the next few days, Scouts Honor.

On an up note, the Anime BINGO game is almost done.  I need to change a font or 12 and print up the boards...that's it.  Naruto UNO is also nearly done.  We'll have lot's of fun games this year.   :D

I'm pulling together the list of photo groups.  Does anyone have any suggestions or requests?  Don't forget to practice your poses (we usually do one serious pose and one silly pose per group).

We have plans for cosplay checkers, Dancing, the picnic, UNO and BINGO.  Is there anything else you would like to add?  Let me know so we can make sure it's on our list.   ;D

Going to be a busy year this year, but it'll be a blast too.

I'm going to another anime convention in May. It's a one day con called Bak-Anime and is located in Bakersfield, CA, which is 2 1/2 hours from where I live. One of the guests there will be Liam O'Brien, who does the voice of Gaara in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, Ukitake in Bleach, and Lloyd in Code Geass.

Hi All!

We're updated!  YAY!  Almost 60 people on the list, not too shabby.  Let me know if you have anyone else I should add.  I'm making the same deal I did last year.  If we have 100 people signed up for the gathering before Day 0 I will buy candy for everyone...sweet sugary candy...yum.   ;D

Cosplay Checkers seems to be coming along well too.  Let me know if you're not on the list yet and are interested in playing.  I think it's going to be a total blast...and I mean seriously how many times in your life to get to be a piece on a game board?  Not many I tell you.

The picnic will be great.  I just finished the BINGO cards yesterday and UNO is almost done.  Just FYI BINGO will be played at the picnic, at the Shonen Jump gathering AND if you're interested it will also be played on Stage Zero on that Monday from Noon until 12:45 (Thanks to everyone who has offered to help, your assistance is GREATLY appreciated).

Do we still want to play Shark?  If so I need to figure out where that will fit into the schedule best.

@Moogleborg.  Any updates from you regarding when and where you'd like to do Bacchikoi?  No worries, no stress.  We still have over a month until Fanime. 

@ruby19_4.  Thanks for asking.  Things seem to be smoothing out for now.  Come Gathering day I'm sure things will be crazy, lol I'll be easily identified as the crazy chick running around like a chicken with my head cut off.  If you think of something you'd like to do, please let me know and we'll make it happen.  It's always fun to be involved in the events and I'm happy to let everyone be involved.   ;D  FYI  the best research I can find says it's about 238 miles from San Mateo to Bakersfield. 

@Dragon Ninja.  Lucky you!  Have fun at that convention!  I'd love to hear from you after you've gone, let us all know if Liam O'Brien is really awesome enough in real life to be Gaara.   8)

Hopefully, we can get our Cosplay Contest entries done soon, then we can finish our Sage!Naruto and Taka/Akatsuki!Sasuke to add on top our outfits. If not, then we'll be in "regular" Shippuuden gear. . . minus the original design details we slaughtered onto the costumes. . . *cough* ^^;

Got you all added.  That gets us up to 62 cosplayers if we average just 1 cosplayer added to the list per day from here until Fanime we'll make the 100 mark.  It's going to be another great year!

@EJAY420 - I had you on the list, as a subset of Sasori.  I've moved it now so that you are listed as your own character, let me know if that's ok.  Happy to have your help on Monday.  Once things get closer I'll contact everyone who has contacted me with details on what to do.   ;D

Foxas - Happy to have you guys.  Let me know if you want me to change your character listing.  Sounds like you'll have some great cosplays. 

@ICosplayNeji - Yay for cousins!  LOL.  In the past the Neji and Hinata cosplayers don't interact much.  It would be nice to see some friendly family bonding on the ninja variety.  lol.
