hi i was just wondering because went i went to rena's meeting she said if there's anything you want to be able to see or do at fanime to send an email to panels@fanime and i didn't get an reply and i just wanted to make sure i would be able to see or go to the things i want to.

You can go to whatever or wherever you please at the con.  If it's an eighteen or older event, then obviously you need to be eighteen or older.  But otherwise, do whatever you want. 

When she said "if there's anything you want to see or do at fanime, email me" she probably meant "if there's a panel you'd be interested in having someone do at the con, propose the idea and perhaps someone will do the panel and then you can go to it."

no she meant like tell them what you want to see or do so they can fix your schedule so you can at least go to 2 or 3 things at the con

well you get a nice little pocket guide with all the events and panels listed, it seems easy enough to plan out your schedule yourself, no?

When you start staffing, you can actually tell her at-con if you can't get a hold of her via email. I staffed once back in 06 and the heads of Fanime make sure their staffers enjoy the con (however they can). I don't think you have to worry about not having time to do what you want unless of course you want to do EVERYTHING... -_-;

no the only thing i want to do is go to musicfest and i think its different now but ill try emailing them again just to make sure and thanks

I'm a personal friend of Rena's and she has a very busy schedule getting easily over 100+ e-mails a day in regards to fanime.

She might not have the time to respond to you right away, but rest assured she reads all her e-mails.

As for your schedule or wanting to see panels for your self---

just like any job you must give her your Availability - meaning the times you are available to work.

and or tell her times you DO NOT want to work, hence during the Music Fest hours, or other major events and she will schedule you accordingly.

even if your new at this whole staff thing, communication though sometimes feels slow, it will make more sense once Convention time comes around.
