I think someone mentioned something about there being lockers at Fanime so we can drop items off? I'm not entirely sure, it may have just been a rumor.  ???
I'm really sorry if this has been mentioned before! :-\
Thank you very much.

Nope, no lockers that I am aware of....and I know the con better than almost all the fans, and possibly some of my fellow staff members. You may be able to have the front desk of one of the hotels check your stuff, but usually you need to be a guest for that.

its been suggested as an idea before, but to no avail....

besides, why dont you have a vehicle, room or friends to help you out with your storage situation?

this is a convention, not a high school :P [no offense to people who goto high school and use lockers and such] >_<

OP, I'm guessing your friend was referring to the hotel check-in system that was mentioned by ewu.  If you're a guest at the hotel, you can have them hold your luggage before you check in and after you check out.

wait, is it for before?  or just after?

both actually, i think within a reasonable time frame of course.  but again its ONLY for guest who have checked or going to check in to said hotel.

That's correct about hotel storage - if you're a guest, they will occasionally hold your belongings for some time. But I have no clue about that; it's best to call the hotel and ask.

They usually have a large room with shelving for guests... but with FanimeCon, they've learned to cordon off floorspace specifically for the otaku...  ;D

Oh, wow, thanks everyone!
I am in fact a high school student (so don't hate on the lockers... even though I don't use mine.. >.>) and FanimeCon's fairly close, so we just carpool there every day. XD But thank you very much for your help!

This is part of why I've had a hotel room for the 2 out of 4 times I've been to Fanime. Although why I trust a hotel room shared by other people (they may be friends, but they're still other people) more than a car that is completely unoccupied when I'm not at it is a little puzzling when I think about it.
