Day Zero Badge pickup verification requirement

Is a U.S. passport with your name on it and date of birth be fine to verify that it's you picking up the badges? Or do you really need a California ID?

How about birth certificate and a school ID with your picture and name? >_<

Basically any alternatives for California ID?
