I was part of Angel Hearts (Samantha, wearing the blue top, haha). We had a great time and were very pleased to get as high as 6th place!! Thanks for everyone's support, and the other contestants did so well! There were some AMAZING voices in the top 10.

I'm looking forward to photos from the event! :D

Just wanna say, good job to all those who participated.  Competition was pretty fierce this year.  Looks like I'm gonna hafta up my game if I wanna win next time.
BTW Angel Hearts, I thought you guys were awesome!  The way you coordinated your vocals and everything showed how much time and effort you put into your performance.

I sang my heart out this year with "TSU BA SA", a song I have rehearsed for ten years to perform when LUNAR hit the big 10 year milestone. As a sneak preview for next year, in honor of the 25th anniversary of Ys and the Super Mario Bros. Super Show (Rest In Peace Lou Albano, bless your soul), I will have more tributes up my sleeve.

What will you hear? What will I be performing in 2011? Only time will tell my friends. Only time will tell.

My sister was the girl who won the "Birthday Cake Award" in the Gong Show, haha. I wish I could have been there, but I was wa~ay too tired after hitting the B&W Ball.

I did have fun singing "Super Brothers" and "Birthday Cake" at open mic, though. Next year, "Magical Girl!" (Maybe "I Love Love You if I'm feeling brave, but I'd need the original version, not the Hideki Naganuma reminx~)

Thank you! Though considering we didn't even have time to memorize our second song, I wouldn't really say we put THAT much time into it... Hahaha. For what we had to work with, I think we did well. If we decided to compete again next year we'd definitely try a lot harder! But I'm glad we were still well received regardless.

You did a fantastic job as well! I hope videos go up at some point so I can rewatch some of the fantastic final performances.

Actually, I think the finalist performances are up on You Tube, along with videos of the rest of the con.  I think these are the "official" videos recorded by the staff. But last I checked they only had up to finalist 8, but it's been a few days since I seen them so they may all be up by now.

FanimeCon 2011 will mark my tenth anniversary since I first came to FanimeCon in 2001, and I have something very special planned for karaoke next Memorial Day...I'm not leaking any secrets though...
