While Zombies are strong, I don't think they would have the coordination to apply that strength to breaking a door down very easily. A decent door, perhaps reinforced with a barricade would easily hold against a swarm.

Yeah that has already been mentioned in the thread.

To the calm, prepared, and logical survivor, other people are almost always going to be your biggest threat. That is why no one should ever be in a group larger then 10, or at least that only with people you know personally and can reason with them enough to stop them from being stupid.

My question is if he was referring to the survivors or the zombies... Because zombies could be classified as stupid people.

I'm still not too sure about the strength of the doors in the anime rooms... It seems to me that they were made to be movable and thus lighter... >.>; Zombies may not have coordinating but enough pressed against a surface creates its own force...

No Zombies are Mindless, not stupid. Stupid people are still capable of thought and doing things requiring such. Zombies are not. Stupid people could be in your group, while Zombies cannot unless someone gets infected, and even then the signs before hand will make it obvious.

It is true that if enough zombies push against something it will break. But there would need to be a lot of zombies, all pushing at one thing, which would require coordination unless they were swarming towards something. Even then though, it would tbe difficult.
I mean if you had 20 people pushing against each other and a door, if the door is sturdy, it will probably still hold because even then the force would not be coordinated much. It is why tools like Rams were invented, so we may make the force be precise enough to do something. With zombies being as uncoordinated as they are, I doubt they could do it with 30, maybe even 40 zombies.

Glitch

The zombie may not be exactly coordinated but if they instinctively would gravitate toward large groups of other zombies they could really cause a lot of damage. Let's just hope they don't have a leader like in Land of The Dead and start figuring out problems and use tools.

TC X0 Lt 0X

If the Zombies retained the ability to think, even in the slightest ability to do so, then we would all be doomed.
