I'd like to start by apologizing if I am breaking any rules that I am unaware of and please tell me if I have.

I have been working on a personal anime website for sometime now for fun and has grown over the years. I'd like to make it go public and was wondering if there are anyone interested in helping make that possible.
Please PM me if anyone is interested or for more information, and again, I apologize if I have broken any rules.

Well technically what you did has not "quite" been breaking rules.

It's only when you list a website for attention. I know in your case you haven't done that yet and it's fine.

I'd love to help, but the info I get might not be usefull sometimes ._.

It's not a problem, any help is appreciated!
I'm trying to make this a fun project where we can all work together. More or less I'm building majority of the website, but building it from the advice and direction of people who want to help.
Please, don't be shy, feel free to PM for any questions!

Not clear what you mean by "personal" website. Are you saying that it's not accessible over the internet? Are you looking for a freehost?

And does it have a forum board? I did notice you're in the Bay Area. AFAIK, Ever since Bay Area Anime shut down, there hasn't been an anime website for SF Bay Area otaku, although the Fanime forum is a surrogate.

Basically what I meant by "personal" was that orignally I created more or less a blog for fun with some anime reviews on it. Some of my friends really liked it and now we are trying to get serious with it and create an anime network that is an interactive community. Of course we've hit a few bumps along the road and now we need help!

Hmm. You **definitely** have competition, as there are MANY anime review sites out there. Any particular niche you're going after? eg. Newest anime? Parental guides to anime?

What sort of interactive community? Again, plenty of competition there, so find a niche. And again, another plug for the SF Bay Area.

List the site on Anipike, provide a link, and good luck!

Yes, I'm aware that there are a lot of websites that fall in this category.
I like the Bay Area idea but it kind of limits the viewers. Lets have a poll.
