Hentai is sum good stuff. Well some of it. The Tentacles are way overdone.
And.. well... other subject matter in alot of these mangas and animes gets pretty damn disturbing.

It's good for the people who like it and bad for those who don't. To argue whether hentai is "good" for the anime industry is akin to asking whether live-action porn is "good" for the movie industry. They just represent a genre aimed at a specific audience. If action fans can get action anime and girls can get their shoujo, I don't see why mature fans cannot have their hentai and enjoy it.

Hentai's fine to watch but the tentacles....kinda freaky. It makes me think of the octopus ramen my granny makes :lol: !

Hentai is fine to many people. It's almost the same or can be recognize with Yaoi which it starts to spread. If people can watch live action porn, then there not much of a difference of watching animated porn. Everyone has their own taste in what they watch and it's right to respect it. Yup.

Most hentai is hilarious. And besides, whatever floats your boat, as long as it doesn't hurt people. Actually, in some ways, hentai's good for that... no real people are injured, so you can have weird scary stuff all you want.

I like watching Hentai, I even have alot of DVD's full of Hantai fan subs. To me I watch for the storyline and the action of you know what I mean 8) .

I personally find almost all hentai distasteful: too much of the genre seems to be centered on hurting or humiliating women. I find that a big ol' turnoff. But I'm not opposed to it as a rule, and can actually enjoy light-hearted or comedic hentai (Buttobi CPU, for example, is totally hilarious).

Something of a tangent, but I don't believe in "cleaning up" anime b/c you'll never appease the witch-hunters. I'm reading the Gaian "Funny Things Parents Have Said about Anime", and people will go ballistic and call porno a manga that has one or two pages of a woman's breast. (Y'know, because no one looks at the rest of the manga and the only reason someone would buy a manga would be to look at two pages of it.)

Still, most of hentai is boring formula (Oh, look. More degradation of women. Yawwwn.), and limited animation doesn't help. Haven't seen the one with the hamster in it, tho. :D
