Has anyone seen this movie? I believe it was supposed to be in select theaters, but I forget when. Looks interesting, but I thought I'd get a couple of opinions first. It's supposed to have some gorgeous animation.

I've seen trailers and the first eight minutes courtesy of Ifilm.com

It was screened back in New York courtesy of the Imaginasian network, so it should be making an arthouse run through the US.

A Korean CG/Animation effort, it looks very good, although the distopic storyline is one that any long-time anime fan will have seen before.  Perhaps in this case it will be handled well.  I will say that between Blue Sky and Steamboy, Blue Sky has the better script.  The plot holes in Steamboy are hard to ignore, despite the stunning visuals.

Actually, we screened that at FanimeCon last year. Before it was ported here and renamed "Sky Blue", the original title is "Wonderful Days".

Personally, I think it's all eye candy and nothing much else.  The music's a mixed bag and I didn't connect with the characters for some reason.  The characters do look like characters I know from various series though.

Oh yeah.  Watch the original.  "Sky Blue" is altered a bit.  Don't remember how.
