Once I was very hungry at around lunch time so I got out the bacon and set the pan to sizzle with olive oil. I set the bacon in and the oil splashed on me. Ouch burned!

You want a story of bacon and here it is: ^_^

SCENE: Burningman 2004 sunday burn of the temple and the last night of burningman for most people. Behind the center camp cafe where so cheesy and weird techno music was playing and I was just cooling down from my last night on the playa (BM is in the desert).
       Anyways I would say itsclose to midnight, but time on the playa is really not important. It was dark and people were celebrating the last night near my camp sight. Someone had brought out a propane stove and was cooking bacon and frying crackers in bacon grease Yum! Bacon tends to be a staple of burning man, because well its good and its great protien if your camping out for a week in the desert.
    So I join in and have some bacon and crackers. Then someone busts out some dark chocolate and shaves it and sprinkles it on the bacon. It was amazingly delicious, especially wrapped around a cracker coated in bacon grease. At one point I sneek back to camp and come back with some tortilla's and cheese. So we make some quesadillas and also fry up just cheese in bacon grease and somehow the chocolate got in there. Everyone had a fabulous time. though ran out of bacon and cheese and I ended up near a burn barrell in my wheelchair and passed out while smoking. Thankfully I burnt a hole in my shirt and not myself hehe.

I have a question.  Bacon comes from pigs right?  Well then what exactly is turkey bacon?  Some kind of turkey/pig animal such...now what is very scary...the most horrible thing I've seen is, vegitarian bacon.  Im like NOOO!!!!!!, bacon cant be vegitarian is suppose to be fattening and greasy and such.

I haven't bothered to look up vegetarian bacon (this is the first time I heard of it) but I wouldn't be surprised if it consists of stuff like vegetable oil (there goes your grease) like Crisco and a mixture of fatty fruits and veggies, like avocado.

Heh I miss the old days of hanging out at one of my friends houses a few years back because all she would ever really eat for breakfast everyday was bacon and the few times I spent the night at her house...
I knew I was eating bacon at midnight or the next morning for sure xD.

me = turn this sentence upside down. chewy stuff for me! the crispiness is...well, it clashes with the softness of scrambled eggs in a sandwich. with cheese...
