There was one at Sakuracon and..oh man was he pretty. Seriously he was perfect e looked JUST him.

That white make up made him compeltley unrecognizable. Even when I gave him a hug he had to tell me he was the very pretty Byakuya from Kumoricon.

It also gave him the nickname 'powdered doughnut'.

But there's no reason you shouldn't do it too. We need more of him.

Another thing, my best friend may be joining us, though he's not a member of the forum, he just wants to be part of the gathering. He'd be coming as Captain Tosen's Lieutenant, forgot his name.

Oh yes, I am bringing a friend who's also going to do a bleach cosplay, but she doesn't know who yet.

Anyways, May I ask, what types of things do you guys do at the gathering? I just had to ask, it's my first time going to one...

well last year we kinda went all out as far as stuff that we did XD:
-pre-gathering game of Bleach!Cosplay Chess in the park across the street & lunch meetup
-pre-gathering game of Bleach Frisbee

not all gatherings do this, its just something I thought would be more fun and allow for more socializing (Bleach cosplayers are just awesome people to hang out with). As far as what we normally do, we just meet up to take group pictures. I have it set up so that we take generic group pics at the fountains and then we move over to the park for more specific groups/scene reenactments/fan requests.

The gathering was wonderful last Fanime.
When I went I only barely knew a couple people, after all the various Bleach gathering events and even things like a "Captain's Dinner" that night, I had new friends.

No, but they should.

Bleach cosplayers in Cali are awesome. Here all they do is nitpick at each others costumes and show off whom has the largest ( yet poorly constructed) weapon.
In this area, it's the Pheonix Wright cosplayers that are the most fun.

I'm totally down for a game of Aizen says.

Until a couple weeks ago I had actually never seen any episodes with the Arrancar.  I had no idea that 'emo-car' is actually not at all., rather very awesome. I think I will go as him next year.

That would make everyday "Aizen says' but I'll play along anyway XD

yes, games ^^ got inspired to do it after going to a Naruto gathering one year and they brought out Ninja Twister. when I first led the Bleach gathering two years ago someone brought a frisbee and the next year I decided to keep it. This year we did that and chess, and when we had moved over to the park for more photos a wedding party came up and their photographer asked for photos of them with us XD it was pretty cool.

You should go as character you like, and don't worry, you have plenty of time to decide who to go as.
