Would anyone be interested in hanging out sometime? I'm thinking something along the lines of video games, anime and possibly table top gaming. Most of the people I know have work or school, so I spend most of my time on the couch. In before get a job.

Ditto for me. Most of my friends in Norcal have full-time jobs/going for master's degrees. I went to college in Socal, so kinda' hard to hang out with my college buddies. Post-college syndrome I call it, tough to find a job in times like this when economy is bad.

My old overused username was Krnchichiri.

Haha, this just made my day.

EDIT: I'd be up for it except I'm busy every day with school, the fall play, working, and misc. activities until the end of November. ;.;

Well poop. Mayhaps it would be easier to set a scheduled date/place for the hang out?

I only have Sundays available, but I'm looking for others for a monthly or biweekly tabletop gaming group. This Sunday, Mike, Bruce, and I will be playing Prophecy in Mountain View, at Red Rock Cafe. See my other thread.

As for anime, there's Foothill Anime, No Name Anime, and CA-West. I haven't gone to them recently, since I watch anime at home.

Finally, you might want to start a Meetup.com group. There's an SF Asianophile group, but not a South Bay otaku one.

Well, there is a costume/cosplay event at Winchester Mystery House soon. Uh, the information is one one of the Halloween threads. That might be a good way to break the ice/meet with some people around the Santa Clara County area.

Yay for Coop-ertino people. :D

I know how you feel

So when do y'all wanna hang out?

sangezi

Ahhh, I need to visit these forums more often...

I'm willing to go anywhere, as long as I'm free.
A few things in the way: Tennis, AP bio on weekends (sometimes), a demanding gf, Junior year (in general).
But mostly my incompetence.

If you all get something started....

Nanashi

Well, is there anywhere that anyone wouldn't feel comfortable meeting? That would help narrow down the options.

If any of you play boardgames (or D&D), I posted a Game Kastle event on Sunday evening...

I'm getting sucked in by this Gaia ZOMG game.  :P Any of you up for a biweekly or monthly Sunday hangout at some WiFi place so we can get a party and WHACK things?

Hmm... the semester is coming to a close, so I might have some more time freed up.

It just depends which area of San Jose we meet up at and when. Other than that, I'm interested. :]

Well I live like 3 blocks away from Fanime and San Jose State University and that sounds like a good idea @_@

Maybe SVGL (Sunnyvale Golfland) could be a good meeting place. Is anyone interested?

There's that anime palace thing (other post) December 13th, maybe we could setup a meeting there. That's also near Sunnyvale.

Yeah, I was planning on going to that, too.

Yeah, I empathize.  Most of my friends live around Pleasanton and such.  I'm free most weekday nights.  I spend Saturday afternoons swordfighting, and Saturday/Sunday nights tabletop gaming with friends.  The joys of having graduated college, and now working full-time, is I have no homework on the weekends.  Good times.  If anyone wants to hang out during the week, I'm free.
