Honestly, most of what I'm doing... nobody will probably notice.  But it's the thought that counts, right? XD  I think the largest chunk of time spent for TB has been running around trying to find all those damn little arrows and dangly bits that I stashed "safely" away. -_-

Lance, at least, should be ready to go.  I made the top part detachable, so it shouldn't hit the ceiling when we prop it up.  ^_^

I just thought of a perfect idea for that lance XD Instead of surrounding you to move to a different area we should put you in front with the lance and charge lmao

As for the Mighty Cain Lance of Things That Should Remain Unspoken.....
I have to wonder that perhaps the Orden is to help hold Cain's lance when he gets tired.
As for having Cain clear a path through a crowd, tssssk. I can see we Abels will be busy protecting humans again.....

On a series note yeah half my bling'll be missing at Fanime... But I am not giving up hope!

As for Caterina...Shes at Meltdown...The point where shes saying things like "Maybe I won't even go in costume!" and "I'll just wear last years stuff!" *sigh*
Send her your positive energy! It'll take a miracle to get her spirits up!

Just find some solutions that solve the overall look, even if there are some things she'd want to add to or rework later.
It's the same thing I'll be doing....like I mentioned going from 5 to 3 straps for the spats, and I won't have time for the full AX logo on the back armor (but they don't always detail it in the manga, after all!), nor the cross on the cuff armor (same thing about the manga). And I'm going to use a short cut for my belts on the silver bars that isn't what want....all these are things I'll go back to after Fanime.

I got my foot armor shaping finished tonight, aaaand I CAN walk with it on, too! whew! But I still have the shoulder pauldron to do...<cries as that will be the worst piece to do I think>.
My leather working friend is coming back tomorrow night and we hope to finish the leather work.

And if Her Eminence needs MORE encouragement for us all united in our cosplay hell?
I still have a good bit of other stuff to do, like resin casting, painting armor and bling, sewing the scarf, finishing the silver trim....good thing I took Thursday off work...and I miiiight need to snag some more time. They owe me an hour and a half of last Friday's vacation day when I had to go into work for a few things due to the power outage on the Thurs afternoon. They actually had to close the building and send us home. My fellow coworkers blamed me for it...sheesh. That's a tale I'll save for Fanime over tea, perhaps....
I think I should head for bed and get some sleep.

I'm one step away from ripping my hair out. I've been hand painting Ion's outfit for over 15 hours now. And I'm still not done, I have to do a bit more on the skirt thingy and the hat once I finish covering it with fabric. I've got soooo much left to do and I'm starting to freak out. Perhaps taking this challenge on was a bit TOO much, but I'm gonna get it done no matter what. As of now I still have:

-finish the hat and the hanging fabric tassles
-the chest plate
-all the dangling beads
-THE BOOTS! OMGF! *DIES*

And I think that's it....blah, I'm stressed! And it doesn't help I accidentally got gold paint on the white handcuffs, meh! Anyways, hope everyone is doing well with their cosplay, and I can't wait to meet up with ya'll.

Oh and I gave up on good boots last week! T.T I just could not find anything that would work!!! And my metal is almost nonexistant right now...At least my Collar of Doom came out good...

There is new hope for my metal! My solution is temperay, and not that cool looking, but it'll add effect!!!

Thank you kimu and nightroad! I just can't get over the fact that I posted that picture up when I look like absolute crap. Things are looking much better right now, the sashes and the hat is done, my boots are spraypainted white, and I'm gonna go tackle the breastplate soon. I just hope it gets done by tomorrow, cause I have to be up bright and early Thursday to pack stuff up and make the grand drive south.

I think I also forgot to mention that I have another cosplay I'm also still working on. That one was the biggest pain in my rear, but I just have to attach a couple hooks and straps, and voila! So, I'm gonna jet and get back to work. Thanks guys for the positive feedback!

Well, based on where I am tonight with everything, I am almost certain to have some hand sewing to finish Friday night.
Which will be okay, I've saved some of that to focus on the stuff that can't be done at a Con...won't be the first time I've had to finish things the night before....
And I don't have any Friday night plans at all, so maybe I'll take my hand sewing down to one of the lobby areas and sew and people watch.

Glad we can all be of comfort to each other.

XD I have a couple more progress shots, and this is STILL without all the hanging beadwork. That and the breastplate will get tackled tomorrow along with the sash that goes across the breastplate. and OMG, I LOVE MY HAT! I was sent home from work due to coughing all over the place. (Gee, think I'm practicing for my Bleach character Ukitake...cripes.)
Soo....off to other work I go! (Namely, costume! Maybe this cold is actually useful for something besides making me feel like crud.)

And as for Friday...I have no cosplays planned for Friday. I'm just going to check in, pick up badge, cruise the dealer room, panels. etc, unload my 4 costumes to hotel room....and hang out. So if you happen to see me wandering around alone or sitting around in the evening....I'll be happy to have a pre-Saturday encounter.
