I kinda like kemonomimi but its not my favorite theme. I think its rather cute but quite over-played. Maybe if it wasn't so overplayed, I'd like it more. o.O
I have a tendency to like characters for other reasons than just physical traits.

Hmm, I meant to post about this at the back up forum, and waited. Well, as long as it's still under this moé's appreciation space and time:

Kemonomimi as itself stands in a situational position.  For those than do not dwell too much on moé, there is usually the impression that some of us go "omg cat ears! HAWT!"......of course, once you are more...err, 'educated' you are well aware that there is far more offered...yes...far more...

I myself, stand in the 'its good if it's there, but I won't care if it's not' position. In fact, I would have much rather used a picture with my character's original costume design that includes a fox-ear-shaped hat, but opted for this choice to exemplify the moe.  

Mine is Ran Yakumo from Touhou.  Personally, under other conditions, would have probably chosen some one like   Reisen because her ears are more interesting. I went for Ran to avoid the repeat, and mainly because for the subject as a whole, I find foxes more aesthetically appealing than rabbits. Fox being quite basic, even with the addition of her nine fox tails, she's under regular standards so-so. As for me, she's one of those characters that I just like because of her appearance but mostly for her portrayed personality. But hey, I'm satisfied on who is the sample character for wiki's Kemonomimi  entry.
