Why am I awake already? Yes, it's almost 8 but...
Yesterday....
What fun!
As commented by Kitty--it was epic win and epic wind!

I guess it's good I did have to go to the picnic as Ukitake.
Our Bleach group ruled!
Renji (Yukari), Matsumoto (Kitty), an Ichigo we adopted, and myself triumphed in the Treasure Hunt contest, and there's an epic tale with that, too.
Then the costume contest, we again triumphed with a skit that got worked out while we were in line waiting our turn.
Total team work on both events. ;D

For pictures at the shoreline, the wind was whipping through, giving us a classic Bleach look.
And I should have a lot of good pics on the camera. ;P
My friend that joined us and did the driving (and she jumped in on the grilling of the burgers, too!) also was a photographer for us. I'll get started on those soon as I finish waking up this morning....

Good food, and lots of great stories. We wished everyone could have been there!
Have to post more details later....

Ester-san--please don't keep doing that! You're not a Methuselah so you don't need to hide from the sun. And if we have to Blame Cain again..... Don't even think about joining the Orden!! And no more confessions to Cain for you! As if you thought you could confess your sins to Cain in the first place? oooh my.

And glad you're having fun Sister Kate! Enjoy your trip and if you don't have time now, we'll be enjoying all the stories later when you are back home and have time to write them up.

Don't worry about your typo, Nightroad...I'm very tired this morning, too, and wishing I'd been able to sleep longer. So your typo is understandable and forgiven.

And thank you Kitty and Yukari--you were both so much fun to hang out with all day. And as a Captain, I'll look the other way and not tell your Captains everything you two were doing... ;)

but yes, the picnic yesterday was so much fun! i had such a great time hanging out with Kimu and Kitty (we totally owned the scavenger hunt and cosplay contest). I can't wait to see how our epic ocean pictures turned out! and you guys got me all stoked again to start working on Tres XD (must find a way to sneak in my prop guns for yaoi con.. XD)

It will be great to be together again at something like Halloween!

For now, I am posting smaller file size versions of the "best of" photos from yesterday.
Tomorrow at work I'll make use of high speed internet to upload everything that's worth loading in high res. That includes the "shoot 3-4 of the same thing and choose your fave" kind of thing.

Contemplating Sister Kate kidnapping you is amusing. Especially if she showed up in the Iron Maiden....heehee

And yes, Yukari, there's lots of epic wind effects, including lots of wild wigs. You were sooo lucky with what you had. LOL!
Betsy got some great shots, but I'm also very happy with some of the ones I got, including the one I posted of you with the SF skyline in the background.
I'm also thinking we really need to come up with a 'code name' for Betsy...LOL! I'll have to tease her with that at work tomorrow.

We're going to have to tell our Treasure Hunt story a bit better. As well as the skit story, I have to say Kitty is good at instant skit creation ideas!

Just so some don't worry too much about me--I know who you are out there! And while I probably will regret it later, but I kind of crashed today and didn't do much on the Abel costume. I'll be back to the 'battle' tomorrow night.
(Did get Ukitake's wig washed and hung to dry. I'm probably going need hours to detangle that thing in time for AX! LOL!)

Last night I went to be early, but I did finish the novel!
waaaaah!
(no spoilers from me, that's as much as you get)

And I picked up new stuff to redo the arrows...after I eat, away I go on getting them DONE I hope!

Also, got the full size and rest of the pics from the picnic loaded on my site.
I have to finish deleting the small versions before I "go public" with the link. Again-let me know if you want any moved to private status!
