Episode 10 picked up a bit from the last few episodes.  Here's to hoping the continuation in ep. 11 doesn't disappoint.

I can't wait to hear Ali Project's new song. I hope it's better than the opening they used for Kamichama Karin.

Anyway, after last episode with the return of spoiler(highlight to read] Jeremiah aka Orange-kun and the now failed Coup, Lelouch gets his ass handed down by the Chinese Federation forces and Xing-Ke fighting for his empress, the tables are slowly getting turned to Lelouch. Kallen gets captured, and he promises to rescue her. Heh, I can't wait to see what goes from here. I also liked the window decorations that C.C put in the cabin and the cabin windows of the trucks. That was hilarious to see.

10 down, 16 to go now lol.

there's no such thing as "better" for ali project.

Last 5 seconds of R2 10. HUGE double-take.

The Kaguya/Tianzi dynamic is amusing though. Kallen reminds me both why I still like her and why I shouldn't.

R2 is getting very interesting. I too am curious to see how this pans out. Also Ryu, I agree..I loved C.C's decorations..haha.
Fanime cosplays (if I can make it..!)
Snowtrooper (Star Wars)
Greed (FMA)
Random pirate
Kurosaki Isshin (working on it now)

Some interesting musings.

One friend of mine suggested that the entire series is basically a scheme by the Emperor to make sure that Lelouch becomes the best possible heir to Brittania. I think it's plausible.

Another friend and I pondered: given the heavy Death Note influences, what would happen if Code Geass got a Death-Note-like ending?
Quote from: Death Note spoilers, maybe? We figure, Lelouch kills Schneizel, Suzaku becomes Schneizel's replacement, Orange-kun sacrifices himself to make sure Lelouch gets caught, Rivalz gives Lelouch a strong speech about morals and shoots him... Lelouch runs off, and C.C. kills him with a silent pistol. Oh, and Kallen kills herself with her purse knife.

it was short for "OF COURSE I HAVE SOMETHING AGAINST ALI PROJECT, I CAN WRITE AN ESSAY ON WHY, BUT IM WAY TOO LAZY TO DO THAT!"

Simply put, IT'S NOT MUSIC! (for me)

Japanese music is a big part of my life, I've sample hundreds if not thousands of artists since the 80s. I went through a lot of phases to find out what I really had a passion for, a HUGE jpop phase, an European electronica phase, an American rock phase, an underground hip-hop phase, etc etc and I went back to something I truly loved in the end, Japanese rock. Now I listen to a lot of indies bands no one understands or gives a shit about.

This is the softest way I can lay this down, I can diss ali project and their flaws all day, how I hate them like I hate Orange Range or Da Pump, but it doesn't really matter in the end. It's an opinion over another. I'm pretty picky and my standards are pretty high, I'll leave it at that.

Tokyo Jihen is pretty solid imo. Shiina Ringo had some great songs in the 90s/early 00s I really liked. "Koko de kiss shite" is the song I really liked in the beginning, although gibusu is pretty awesome and quickly became my favorite when it came out. (although I was already hyped about it watching CDTV). As for Jihen... I liked the Kyouiku album but after like 20 listens, I went on.... then Otona (adult) came out and I liked it a lot more. I always enjoyed their aggressiveness, don't know how else I can put it.

So episode 11... I dunno what to think. It was getting to the bad side of absurd in a couple cases, but some parts were still really good. I totally don't buy their explanation of Lelouch's double. =(
