Are there any particular anime series that are better dubbed?

I couldn't stand Outlaw Star in Japanese.  Gilliam just sounds... weird.
Golden Boy and Dead Leaves is HILARIOUS in English.  There are way too many memorable quotes from the dub of those two.  You there! YOU SHIT TOO MUCH >O DEATH SENTENCE!

I grow more attached to a series if it is localized in a good dub.  There's something about hearing the characters in my own language helps me identify with them more.  Watching Elicia from FMA

Dragon Ball Z: I don't know why. Their voices in japanese are extremely weird.

And Full Metal Panic.  Sounds a lot better to me in English.

Series that are better?  Doubt it.  Series that are passable, probably.

There are plenty of good dubs out there, most of which have already been mentioned. But there's only one series that I consistently watch dubbed rather than subbed: Desert Punk. Perhaps the deliveries of the jokes just work better in English, but it's got one of the best dubs I've seen.
