Its not a question of tact, its a question of fair. Ryu lights up on me for decreasingly potent crap (is crap not acceptable now, too?) and yet he doesnt say a word to anyone else. Now, Im not saying Ryu isnt allowed to have emotions or opinions, but when you break out the mod stick you need to be as fair as possible. If he's got some mystery beef with me or something, Ive got no problem with that. He's full allowed. But its bad form to let it effect his moderation duties. You cant come down on someone because you dont like the individual or what theyre saying. Thats abuse of power.

Ryu: If you have some beef with me or something like that, its cool. We havent always seen eye to eye, but we've always been able to work it out eventually. If this is the case, shoot me a pm and we'll talk. Or not. Thats cool too.

This is now way off topic. I say we consider this incident squashed. If anyone has anything to say about it, please tell me in a PM. Lets not defile the moe with this negativity, yeah?

Time to talk about the moe and my selection: XD

Hotaru is the main character's best friend in Gakuen Alice. They went to the same school and she was selected to go to another school because of her abilities. She is basically a genius as she invents all kinds of new, interesting devices. Even at the new school, where everyone has special abilities, she stands above the rest and has special status because she is just that skilled.

Concerning the moe theme:
Considering how the theme is approached, the selection of characters can be very narrow or not so much... I like this theme as there is something really respectable and enjoyable of a character that is so skilled at an early age. How a character is skilled differs from character to character but they are always more skilled than an ordinary child would be. I think seeing such children is rather nice and inspiring.
